Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with Mikayla's Scents! Each order is handcrafted with love and care to ensure you receive the highest quality product. Below is everything you need to know about our shipping process.
Processing Times:
All of our products are made in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. Please allow 2–5 business days for your order to be processed and packed. During busy periods or product launches, processing times may be slightly longer—but we promise it's worth the wait!
Shipping Times & Costs:
- Standard Shipping: 2–4 business days
- Rural Delivery: Please allow an additional 1–2 business days
- Flat Rate Shipping: $8 NZ- South Island
- Flat Rate Shipping: $12 NZ- North Island
- Flat Rate Shipping: from $23 International
- Free Shipping on orders over $80!
We ship all around New Zealand and internationally
Order Tracking:
Once your order has been shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number so you can follow your goodies right to your doorstep!
Signature Delivery & Lost Parcels:
Customers have the option to request "signature delivery" at checkout. If signature delivery is not requested, please note that we may not be able to offer a refund if the parcel is lost or goes missing after dispatch.
If signature delivery is selected and your parcel does not arrive, please notify us immediately and provide any necessary details to initiate a missing parcel claim with the courier. Once the courier confirms the item is lost and approves the claim, you will be refunded in full.
It is the customer's responsibility to clearly indicate their preference for signature delivery when placing their order and to take all necessary steps to ensure successful receipt of their parcel.
Delays & Issues:
While we do our best to get your order out promptly, Mikayla's Scents cannot be held responsible for delays caused by postal services, weather conditions, or incorrect addresses. Please double-check your shipping details before placing your order.
Returns Policy
A full refund will be provided to any goods returned to our warehouse, unopened in their original packaging and within 30 days. Shipping expenses, in both directions, are not refundable.
If the goods you receive are faulty, we will replace those goods if they are returned to our warehouse within 30 days of purchase. Reimbursement for shipping expenses will be up to the value of the original quoted shipping cost.
After 30 days returns and refunds are subject to manufacturer’s warranty.
Privacy
The privacy of our customer data, orders and credit cards are important to us. We will not disclose or sell your customer data to any third party. We will only send you email newsletters if you explicitly opt in.
Credit card details are not stored anywhere on our servers nor in our premises. Your credit card details are processed in real time by an independent payment gateway authorised by our bank, using secure encryption.
